Meet the Founders

Lane Russell

Lane is a 2018 Princeton University graduate in Economics and Ivy League champion in Track & Field. He was an equity derivatives trader at Goldman Sachs before leaving to co-found a YC company. Lane sees The U Experience as a way to improve a broken system that has left many behind and envisions a deconstruction of higher education that makes knowledge and intergenerational mobility accessible to all.

That same year he earned All-America honors in the Pole Vault and competed in the U.S. Olympic Trials for an opportunity to represent Team USA.
